Yearly believer’s vacationDuring one or two weeks in autumn about 110 to 180 participants go on vacation together. It is an occasion to spend leisure time with each other (games, sports, competitions, excursions etc.). Consciously spending time together is one of the most precious things people can give to one another, especially on vacation. Adults and children collect many memories that they enjoy throughout the years. Covenant relationships and lasting friendships are built during this time together. Weekend retreatsOnce or twice a year, we enjoy time with each other’s fellowshipping and growing in the Lord. Summer camp for children and teensDuring summer vacation a week in a youth hostel or a tent camp is spent around a specific subject in the mornings and accompanied by common leisure time in the afternoon and evenings. Camping has long been considered one of Christianity’s most effective mediums for impacting lives and strengthening young Christians. For decades, clergy and lay leaders in all denominations have realized that the challenge-oriented temporary community inherent in Christian camping is unsurpassed for awakening faith, instilling character, and implanting godly values in participants, regardless of age or background. Christian camping is also considered by many to be the best means for inspiring an individual to a life of service.
