What We Believe

We join together with all Christians in confessing the Apostolic and Nicene creeds as the foundation of our faith. We stand on the groundwork laid by the reformation and its Christ-centered teachings: By faith alone (sola fide), by grace alone (sola gratia), and by scripture alone (sola scriptura). We affirm the statement of faith from the 1846 Evangelical Alliance. We are thankful for the gift that God has recently given to Christianity through the worldwide outbreak of the charismatic movement. We seek to receive and put into practice all of the good and beneficial gifts that have resulted from this outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the guidelines set by the founders express the spiritual direction and the goals of the foundation. They demonstrate how the path set forth by generations of Christians over centuries can be carried on in the future.
